The 40-year-old man stripped naked and jumped into the moat, and it took over an hour and a half for police to capture him. As you can see from the video, he threw rocks at anyone who approached him in the water and clearly did not want to be apprehended.
It is not clear why the man went skinny dipping, but it may have had something to do with a group of foreign tourists that had been speaking to officers about a lost bag at a nearby police box at the same time the man prepared to make his jump into the moat.
If Obama wins Nancy Pelosi is two heartbeats away from becoming the first women American President. Here is what could very well bring America it’s 46th President before the 2012 election.
1 - Obama Gets Elected
Obama is about a 5 to 1 favorite to win the Presidential election less than a month from now. Highly respected polster John Zogby expects the race to break towards a landslide the Sunday before the election in either direction. Still with all of his experience in covering presidential races he believes it could go either way. Assuming that Obama wins that could sent in motion a bizarre chain of events leading to the first woman American president.
2 - Some Hillbilly Shoots Obama
The first black president could face an untimely demise, the google search term “assassinate obama” reveals 3,490,000 results and is in the top 100 google search terms. That search result would be even higher if rednecks could spell the word ‘assassinate’ correctly. By means of comparison Kennedy assassinate only 1.43 million and Bush assassinate has only 1.19 million results.
With the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr’s. assassination in mind the possibilities of another racially motivated death of a leading African American figure are nearly unthinkable. Barack Obama might want to consider using body doubles like Saddam Hussein. Sadly the frequent comparisons between JFK and Obama could prove to be even more ironic. Unfortunately, southern goobs with high powered rifles and powerful black American figures just don’t mix well.
3 - Biden Has Third & Fatal Aneurysm
With people focusing on McCain’s health people have ignored Senator Biden’s medical history. Joe Biden Biden underwent multiple surgeries in 1988 to repair two berry aneurysms on opposite sides of his brain. People who have survived a rupture of a brain aneurysm are twice as likely as the general population to develop another aneurysm. If a second aneurysm occurs, these people are 6 times more likely to have another ruptured aneurysm and bleeding in their brain.
Take the added pressure of the presidencey on the 65-year-old and his brain vessels are going to explode faster than a twenty year old garden hose.
According to the Presidential Succession Act of 1792, the Senate president pro tempore was next in line after the vice president to succeed to the presidency, followed by the Speaker of the House.
In 1886, however, Congress changed the order of presidential succession, replacing the president pro tempore and the Speaker with the cabinet officers. Proponents of this change argued that the congressional leaders lacked executive experience, and none had served as president, while six former secretaries of state had later been elected to that office.
The Presidential Succession Act of 1947, signed by President Harry Truman, changed the order again to what it is today. The cabinet members are ordered in the line of succession according to the date their offices were established.
Prior to the ratification of the 25th Amendment in 1967, there was no provision for filling a vacancy in the vice presidency. When a president died in office, the vice president succeeded him, and the vice presidency then remained vacant. The first vice president to take office under the new procedure was Gerald Ford, who was nominated by Nixon on Oct. 12, 1973, and confirmed by Congress the following Dec. 6.
Note: Every Republican on this list could be replaced by in a Barack Obama administration, and it is highly unlikely any would maintain their positions. Norman Mineta was appointed United States Secretary of Transportation by President George W. Bush in 2001, a post he was originally offered eight years previously by Bill Clinton. He is the only Democrat to have served in Bush’s cabinet and also the first Secretary of Transportation to have previously served in a cabinet position (Secretary of Commerce).

46th American President (possible)
Veronika Robinson an editor for a natural-parenting magazine appeared on national TV to explain why she is still breastfeeding her daughter who is nearly eight – and why she gave her older daughter breast milk as a ninth birthday present.
Kids Are Too Big
The very large cannot even suckle from their mother without the use of a couch. When a kid is almost as big as you are and has sharp teeth it’s time to quit getting milked.
Mother Just Being Cheap
With milk prices nearly doubling over the past ten years a gallon of milk is frequently more expensive than gasoline. Veronika may be into organic foods and all, but she’s not rich and it looks like she’s just trying to save money.
Kids Draw Milkior and Boobidor
It’s bad enough the kids are still breastfeeding at 8, but they’re drawing pictures of their Milkior and Boobidor (their pet names for Mommy’s milk jugs). This obsessive behavior will undoubtedly manifest itself later in life.
Breast Milk for 9th Birthday
In an interview for a TV program 38-year-old Veronika described her reaction when Bethany asked for breast milk for her ninth birthday. “I was delighted’ she said. Her child describes the taste as better than mango, and "better than a million melons."
Making Up Stats
They claim "The worldwide average for weaning is 4 years and 2 months of age." One often hears that the worldwide average age of weaning is 4.2 years, but this figure is neither accurate nor meaningful. A survey of 64 "traditional" studies done prior to the 1940s showed a median duration of breastfeeding of about 2.8 years, but with some societies breastfeeding for much shorter, and some for much longer. In developed countries the average is less than one year.
Kids Have Named the Breasts
The seven-year-old had given names to the breasts. Milkior and Boobidor. Now that’s creepier than anything out of Harry Potter. Their mother gushes (no pun intended) about the attention her breasts receive from her children and how it makes her feel better about herself.
Kid Never Wants to Stop
Elizah is approaching her eighth birthday and is not happy at the prospect of giving up her daily feed. “I don’t want to be weaned. I want to breast feed for ever,” she said. Here is what an old lady would look like feeding long after her mother was able to continue her feedings.
Crazy Wiccan Grace
Meals begin with this interesting version of grace:
Earth who gives to us this food,
Sun who makes it ripe and good,
Dear Earth, Dear Sun, by you we live,
Our loving thanks to you we give.
Amen
Bizarre Touching Routine
In what has to be the world’s most bizarre morning ritual the girls (2:18 into the video) like to touch her breasts. They don’t like her wearing bras and have taken ownership in their mother’s milk receptacles. Veronika is clearly getting to much enjoyment over this whole thing.
Husband Paul is Typical British Wimp
Two world wars have robbed England’s gene pool of it’s males with high levels of testosterone. The leftovers of 1.267 million war dead, in context within a population of about 47 million is staggering when considering military service draws from males between 17 and 30. Those who survived this culling tend to be passive, shy and non-assertive and have passed on there genes to wimps like Paul who stand by and allow this insanity to continue.

2008 is the 30′th anniversary of the ABC television show Battlestar Galactica which was eventually re-made into an award winning Sci-Fi Channel series. Here is the complete history of the Viper, the iconic fighter ship from my favorite TV series of all time.
ORIGINAL CONCEPT ART
One of the design criteria for the Viper would be a "compact" configuration, easy to produce as a full-scale set piece, yet projecting a feeling of power. This was achieved with admirable results, at a diminutive length of 27 feet the Vipers huge intakes and exhaust nozzles left no doubt that this was a high-powered combat vehicle. Sporting stub wings reminiscent of the X-15 or F-104 Starfighter and a long rakish nose, this design also featured simple to build shapes that helped keep construction budgets down. Built as miniatures first, they also presented certain challenges to the studio construction department.
The Colonial Viper underwent numerous changes from its original concept to its final design. Ralph McQuarrie’s original concept was so different from the final Viper that it was reused as the "Thunder Fighter", the Earth Directorate Starfighter used in Glen Larson’s other space series, Buck Rogers.
This initial concept by McQuarrie is very similar to the Star Wars Y-Wing.
The full-scale plywood "Thunder Fighter" used for filming the 1979 TV Series Buck Rogers from Cloudster.
PRE-PRODUCTION ARTWORK
With the industry changing success of Star Wars in the mid ’70s Universal was looking to barrow on that success for the small screen. Initial artwork was so similar that George Lucas sued to prevent it’s production claiming that it stolen 34 distinct ideas. Universal countersued claiming that Star Wars had borrowed robots and other themes from it’s 1972 film Silent Running and earlier Buck Rogers serials. After a very long development the series borrowed from the aircraft carrier theme, Star Wars and early ’30s serials for a new "Space Opera’. With a large cast, cutting edge special effects and complicated sets the show was the most expensive television series to produce for it’s time.
The basic Viper design was represented both in Ralph McQuarrie artwork and concurrent paintings by Frank Frazetta.
PRODUCTION IMAGES
Initially Battlestar Galactica’s creator Glen Larson envisioned Battlestar Galactica as a series of made-for-TV movies (a three-hour pilot and two two-hour episodes) for the ABC television network. On September 17, 1978, the uncut 148-minute pilot premiered on ABC to spectacular Nielsen Ratings. As the series progressed, the ratings began to decline, even though the show still consistently won its coveted Sunday evening time slot. Although each episode had a budget of about $1 million, the show reused so many special effects shots due to budgetary constraints that many critics derided it as "overplayed into tedium."
SMALL SCALE MODELS
Similar to Star Wars plastic models in Battlestar Galactica would be attached to a motion control armature for the filming of multi-pass effects shots. This process was very expensive and to save costs special effects shots were constantly recycle for the TV Series.
Surprisingly, the smallest and least detailed spaceship in the entire series was the one most often on the screen. The Viper model was small (as evidenced by the foam the model is resting on).
LARGE SCALE MODELS
Two versions of the full scale Viper mockup were built for filming. The first, was the full scale complete version used for showing launch crews working around the fighter. The second contained only the cockpit and upper details of the fighter. This allowed two actors to be concurrently filmed without requiring two full scale fighters to be built. The full scale mockup, built primarily of plywood, was built on operational wheels that allowed it to be rolled from one location to another with relative ease. When it had to be taken over obstacles, it was lifted with a crane and set in place. For many years the full scale Viper mockup languished in semi-outdoor storage behind one of the false front buildings on Universals Studios "New York" street back lot. Then came a fire that burned down that portion of the back lot and it is presumed that the Viper went with it. It is also possible that it was scrapped even before the fire, like so many of the other studio "spaceships". See more from Cloudster.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA SHIPS
Here is my own version of starship dimensions for the Battlestar Galactica Universe. For more scale mockups like this you can see Starship Dimensions and Dan Carlson’s amazing version that cover major ships from throughout the sci-fi world.
Ships from the original series in 1978 and re-imagined series including it’s multiple vipers. The re-imagined series even included an original series viper located in a museum on the aging and Battlestar Galactica due to be retired from active service. There are several online resources for technical details including: the online Battlestar Galactica Manual and the Battlestar Wiki.
VIPER BLUE PRINTS
These are the actual blueprints used to create the large-scale Viper from the 1978 Original Battlestar Galactica series.
NEW SERIES VIPERS
Despite attempts to revive the series over the years, none came to fruition until it was re imagined in 2003 by Universal Television in association with Sky1 and the Sci-Fi Channel with Ronald D. Moore and David Eick as the creative forces behind it. Edward James Olmos stepped into the role of Commander Adama. A weekly new Galactica series followed, premiering on Sky1 in the UK and Ireland in October 2004, and on Sci-Fi in the U.S. in January 2005.
The Re-Imagined series had two versions of the Viper, including the Viper Mark II (below) and a newer version that replaced it the Mark VII. The new series had pilots with realistic looking pressurized helmets which were scrapped in the original series to film them more easily. In the new series the older Mark II’s although outdated proved less vulnerable to Cylon’s hacking into their systems. Full scale mockups were again built with plywood but tedious stop motion filming of miniatures was replaced with CGI in the new series.

The Sapporo Snow Festival, one of Japan’s largest winter events, attracts a growing number of visitors from Japan and abroad every year.
Every winter, about two million people come to Sapporo to see the hundreds of beautiful snow statues and ice sculptures which line Odori Park, the grounds at Satoland, and the main street in Susukino.
For seven days in February, these statues and sculptures(both large and small) turn Sapporo into a winter dreamland of crystal-like ice and white snow.
The Snow Festival began in 1950, when local high school students built six snow statues in Odori Park. in 1955, the Self-Defense Force joined in and built the very first massive snow sculpture, for which the Snow Festival has become famous for now. The Festival has grown from these humble beginnings to become one of the biggest and most well known of Hokkaido’s winter events.
The Snow Festival is considered to be a festival of international-caliber.
Odori Site
Odori Park stretches from east to west through the center of downtown Sapporo and represents the main festival site.here, you can see a variety of snow and ice sculptures, many of which have an international flavor. There are other snow stages located here and featuring a varientyof entertainment.

You could chalk it up to senile dementia or maybe just being French but 86-year-old Pierre Cardin has launched what experts agree is the most retarded fashion show in the history of the world. These images are real pieces were not part of a hidden camera show but were part of his spring/summer 2009 ready-to-wear collection show in Theoule-Sur-Mer, southern France.
Here is a link to the actual fashion show, all images were stolen found from actual news articles on the world’s most retarded fashion show.
It’s not often that we talk about our personal lives on this site, but Michael is planning the most retarded vacation of all time and I just had to share. His new girl we will call ‘married girl’ is taking a vacation next month and he’s booked a room on the same cruise sneak in some quality time with her. Continue Reading »
Please poke out one of my eyes and take me to wherever the blind people live, I think that I would make a good king. I know that wherever I ruled, the word phishing would be spelled only with the letter F and whoever stole my money from Sterling Savings Bank would be put to death. The worst part is that I had saved all my recycled cans/bottles money in the local Sterling bank.
It was a typical Thursday morning today when I received my regular email and started going through it one message at a time. Of course, as a diligent email user I know the importance of using email for all forms of communication and that when I receive something in email, it’s meant to be acted upon. So when Ireceived my Sterling Savings Bank email, I realized that I needed to update my information immediately, as the email told me to.
Unfortunately the site was taken down, so even if you wanted to go to it and give them your information, the site doesn’t have any functioning parts let to it.
Thankfully there will be another phishing site coming up soon, as they are being created at a faster rate than they are being taken down.
